The effects of such exposures can have both acute and chronic long-term implications on the health of the individual.

This course focuses on the growing field of occupational toxicology, the specific toxicants encountered in various work environments, and how both acute and chronic exposure can impact health. Symptom presentation, differential diagnosis, and treatment are being discussed as well as preventive measures that can be implemented to reduce or prevent such exposures.
